Force-A push or pull on an object is called force.
Interaction of one object with another object result in a
force between the two objects.
Magnitude and direction of force
Forces applied on an object in the same direction added to
one another.
For opposite direction
Net force decides the effect on the object The net force
acting on the object is the differences between the forces.
If the direction or the magnitude of the applied force
changes,it’s effect also changes
Change in direction/magnitude=change in effect
Net force is zero if forces are equal from opposite
directions
A forces can change the state of motion
If object is in the rest/not moving it is in state of rest and
if it is moving it is in state of motion .Both rest and motion are the state of
motion
Some important points of Forces
A force applied on an object may change its speed.
If force applied in the direction of motion=Its speed
increased
If force applied in the direction opposite to the the
direction of motion –it’s speed decreased
A change in either the speed of an object or its direction
of motiobn or both is described as a change in the state of motion of an
object.
